The High School Band Boosters is the organization that supports our band students and includes ALL parents. It allows the band directors to focus on developing the talent of our students by coordinating activities for the band and by providing additional resources where necessary. We work closely with the band directors, who are also members of the Band Boosters Board, to assist them in whatever way possible.
In this day of cut backs and fund decreases, it is essential that we supplement the limited funds that are allocated to the band budget in order to enhance the educational experience of our students. The best thing you can do is become active in the Boosters. That doesn’t mean you have to volunteer for everything, but your participation is encouraged and appreciated. It takes an army of volunteers to make things run smoothly for the band and although they won’t admit it, your kids actually like having their parents involved in some band activities!
Fundraising activities include finding Sponsors for Program Advertisement, supporting our students in various sales campaigns, and attending Dine & Donate events.
Volunteer opportunities include the Pit Crew where you help with transporting instruments and equipment, cooking dishes for our students and judges, Chaperones for Football Games and Competitions, Parking Lot Events, working tickets or concessions out our Home events and many more!

Our booster organization is the backbone of our music department. Without this group, we would not be successful. The boosters provide support through fundraising, chaperoning, pit crew, issuing uniforms, and volunteering. As the number of students grow, so do our needs as far as parent help. Please consider joining our group. There is no cost to join and we need your help. This year, the marching band will be hosting for the 10th time, our home show TOB Invitational and for the 10th time, the Chapter IX Championships. These competitions are large fundraisers for the music department, but require many volunteers. Please see me to sign-up and for ways that you can help. The booster meetings are generally held the second Monday of every month in the band room. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023.
