We would like to welcome you to the exciting 12th Anniversary season of the Appoquinimink High School Marching Band! 


Music offers students and parents so many rewards.  There are new friends to be made, new skills to be learned that help our students their whole life long, fun and hard work to be shared, joys/accomplishments, and tears to be shared.  2019-2020 is going to be a great year!


Appoquinimink High School is a member of the Tournament of Bands (TOB)

Our show this year is entitled “Time Waits for No One” and is an ominous look at the intensity we feel as time ticks down to when a long dreaded moment finally arrives!

Student Leaders: Senior Drum Major is Tanya Bais and Junior Drum Major is Tiffany Salumn. Student leaders are Simone Green, Jeremy Byrne, Bailey Stevens, and Katelyn Yurkovich-Woodwinds. Joey Bedard, Sean MacDonald and Connor Simpler-Brass. Cameron Silva and Isaac Hannah are our Percussion Captains. Color Guard Captains are Emily Strycharz, Evelyn Schloer, and Lauren Extavour

Soloists: Zoe Cronin-Piccolo, Emma Okonowicz, Shannon McSurdy, and Isabella Kalb-Flute, Bailey Stevens- Alto Sax, Ari Bramble- Tenor Sax, Connor Simpler-Euphonium, and Josh Attarian-Tuba


The Appoquinimink High School Marching Band would like to thank our district/school administration, the Appoquinimink Board of Education, AHS Music Boosters, and parents/friends for all of their support throughout the marching season. We could not do this without you!


In addition to our field show, we will be playing several modern songs in the football games and school Pep Rallies.  All music and materials will be handled out at the first practice.
