Hi Parents and Students,
With the end of the month quickly approaching, I wanted to send out a few reminders to you with upcoming dates.
Marching Uniform Return: All Marching Uniforms are due no later than Jan. 31. They must be returned in the garment bag it was issued in. In addition, all Front Ensemble members need to return their uniform tops/with their pants and all guard members need to return their parade uniforms. Guard members please put a piece of paper pinned to the uniform so we can verify your child turned theirs in. Uniforms not turned in by Jan. 31 will forfeit the dry cleaning fee and you will be responsible for getting it dry cleaned. We only have 20 uniforms returned at this point so please check with your child and make sure they bring theirs in.

Grotto’s Family Night: The Music Boosters will be hosting a family fundraiser Dinner Night at Grotto’s Pizza in Middletown on Tuesday night 1/28 from 4-9. Vouchers will be going home with Students on Monday and Tuesday. You need the voucher for us to get the donation from Grotto’s. Help us out while making your night easier by getting Dine-in or Carry-out dinner at Grottos!

Mattress Fundraiser: On Feb. 1st, the Music Department will be holding our 8th Annual Mattress fundraiser in the commons. If you are in need of a new mattress, consider coming down and checking us out. We have sold over 300 mattress in the past 7 years and raised over $35,000 for the music department and students. For those of you who are new to AHS, here’s how it works. The commons are set up like a showroom where you can test out beds and pillows. You go ahead and order a mattress through the company and a brand new one is delivered to your home on the date you choose. Since the company does not have a “brick and mortar†store, they are able to offer mattresses at lower prices than department stores and they are able to help schools raise funds. They offer a wide range of mattresses from Pillow top to adjustable beds. They offer 3 brands including Simmons Beautyrest. Attached is a copy of our flyer. There are extra discounts for Military, Teachers, and First Responders.
The students received referral flyers this week. For every mattress a referred person purchases, the students will receive between $75-$225 in their student account. If they refer multiple people who purchase mattresses, they will not only receive the Student Account money, they will also receive a Cash Bonus of $10-$25.00. If you have any questions, let me know!
