Happy November!! I hope this email finds you doing well. I wanted to send out some information to you for the start of November so you can plan for our upcoming events. Below are the notes:

• November Booster Meeting: Monday November 9^th@ 6:30 p.m. on Zoom. Please join us for our November booster and hear about all of the upcoming events we have in the department.

• Marching Band Football Game Practice: In order to prepare for our Pep Band Performances at the last two home football games, I am going to hold a practice on Thursday 9/12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We will review all of the stands songs and basic marching techniques to prepare for the games. All Wind and Battery Percussion students who are planning to perform with us for these games should plan on attending.

• Amazon Smiles: Did you know that the Appo Music Boosters have a charity account through Amazon Smiles. If you make a purchase on Amazon through the Smiles webpage or the now on the Amazon App, the Appoquinimink Music Boosters get a donation from Amazon to support our music programs. Just go to www.smile.amazon.com or the Amazon app, click on “Appoquinimink Music Boosters” for your charity and start shopping.  You can still use your Amazon prime account as well. As you are shopping in quarantine or preparing for the holidays, please help the music department out in this very easy fundraiser! Pro-Tip: We have this account all year, not just for the holidays!!
